Kristina Woods

Kristina Woods and her husband, Peter, have lived in New Canaan since 2004. Kristina began her work with nonprofits as a volunteer and board member with Community Partners, a 501c3 organization providing pro-bono consulting services to local organizations including Arts for Healing, the New Canaan Nature Center, Person to Person and The Maritime Aquarium. She has also volunteered at the First Presbyterian Church and the New Canaan Public Schools.

Prior to moving to New Canaan, Kristina worked as a strategy consultant in both the US and the UK. She has a B.A. in Economics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Kristina has served as a New Canaan Community Foundation site visit volunteer, a member of the Community Investments Committee, and she led the 2022-2023 Strategic Planning Task Force.

Kristina is the proud mother of two sons, both of whom attended the New Canaan Public Schools from kindergarten through to high school graduation. Her younger son’s memorial fund, The Toby Woods Memorial Fund, is housed at NCCF and accepts donations in his memory.
