Kim joined New Canaan Community Foundation in January 2024 to fill the new position of Development and Communications Associate. Her primary responsibililties are to support the Development Director and work with the Communications Consultant to release timely information about what NCCF is working on.
Kim received a BS in Business Administration from UNC Chapel Hill. She then worked in Administration with the US Government, eventually being sent to the US Embassy in Mexico City as a Logistics Officer. While there she met her husband Scott and took a new position as Household CEO, raising their 4 children in various locations including Zurich, Switzerland, Fort Collins, Colorado, and Paris, France.
When she and Scott moved back to the US and landed in New Canaan, she was fortunate to meet Pat Stoddard and Barb Achenbaum and learn about Staying Put in New Canaan. She spent 3 wonderful years serving as the Office Manager at Staying Put, where she began to learn about the kindness and generosity of this town. She is proud to be working for the Foundation and continuing to learn about the incredible work New Canaanites do to support their community as well as broader Fairfield County.
