2024 Connecticut Council for Philanthropy FCFN Collaborative Wellness Fund Grant
The Connecticut Council for Philanthropy (CCP) is an association of funders committed to promoting and supporting philanthropy for a just and thriving Connecticut and beyond. The Fairfield County Funders Network (FCFN) is comprised of 28 organizations making grants in Fairfield County.
Grant Opportunity: Recognizing that nonprofits are under constant pressure to do more with less, resulting in overworked staff and significant staff burnout, the CCP FCFN is offering a one-time grant opportunity to support Fairfield County, CT leaders’ and/or groups’ wellness. Thriving, vibrant communities require healthy, supportive leaders and staff members who are afforded opportunities to rest and rejuvenate. Future grant opportunities may depend on interest within the sector and available funds.
Eligible organizations must:
Have 501c3 status or be fiscally sponsored by a 501c3 organization and
Be based in and provide services, resources and/or support to constituents who reside primarily in Fairfield County, CT.
Other factors that may be considered:
Low resourced groups:
Organizations that rely heavily on volunteers and/or have 5 or less paid staff
Organizations that lack infrastructure including back-office administration, and staff development and supervision capacity
Financial Need: Our hope is to make grants available to a variety of organizations, particularly those that may be unable to include wellness efforts in their budget.
Eligible groups can request funds up to $10,000. The requested amount should be commensurate with the proposed activities/project/initiative as well as with the organization’s budget.
