Behavioral Health Survey Results Shared with Public

On Monday, January 27, in the Jim and Dede Bartlett Auditorium at the New Canaan Library, a panel presentation led by Nina Chanana of Chanana Consulting, along with Susannah Lewis, Director of Community Relations of Silver Hill Hospital, Lauren Patterson, President/CEO of New Canaan Community Foundation, Dr. Andrew Gerber, President and Medical Director of Silver Hill Hospital, Dr. Bryan Luizzi, Superintendant of New Canaan Public Schools, and Leo Karl, Behavioral Health Committee member at NCCF shared the five key takeaways from the recent Community Health & Well-Being Survey. The survey provided valuable insights into the community’s strengths, challenges, and priorities for future health and well-being initiatives.

The results of the survey showed that while most people in New Canaan are doing well, there are those who are not. Those who are not include parents and caregivers, those worried about their own mental health, or who have low life satisfaction or low financial security.
