Generosity is at the heart of our community
It’s a unique privilege for our town to have a dedicated Community Foundation, serving both our residents and neighboring towns. The New Canaan Community Foundation supports hundreds of nonprofits, individuals and families in our community. For over 45 years, the generosity of our town’s residents has been the heartbeat for the arts, youth & education, seniors & special needs, human services, and health & behavioral health.
Even in challenging times, our Foundation stands strong. Last year, we awarded grants of over $2 million, including local grants in our community, that focused tangible impact where it is needed most. Collaborating with our town, schools and local nonprofit community, we unearth opportunities that bring light to important issues.
