8th Annual Addiction Awareness Vigil

The New Canaan Parent Support Group, along with a number of other sponsors including the New Canaan Community Foundation, will gather for the 8th year to bring awareness to the struggles of those affected by addiction.  Attendees will hear authentic stories of hope, enjoy live music, learn about addiction and behavioral health resources, and participate in a candlelight vigil led by local faith leaders. This year’s theme is Family Empowers Recovery, so the inspiring recovery speakers, Aidan, Cini Shaw and Ben Tuff, will be introduced by their family members.

The event will take place on Thursday, August 29th from 7:00-8:00 pm with live music beginning at 6:30pm, at the corner of Elm and South Avenue in downtown New Canaan.  Free parking at Morse Court and Park Street.
